Nhlangano
Geography and history
Nhlangano, preiously known as Goedgegun, is the capital town of the Shiselweni Province in Swaziland. The name of this town means “meeting place” and this name is derived from the meeting which took place in 1947 between King Sobhuza II and King George VI of Great Britain.
Nhlangano is the fourth largest town in the country and located in the Southern parts of the country. This town is situated near the Ngwavuma River and has a total population of about 10 000 residents. A health centre, a prison,a casino and a SOS children's village is situated in Nhlangano.
