Geography and history
Simunye is a vibrant town situated in the Lubombo Province of Swaziland about, 30 km from South Africa's border. It has the third largest population in the country and serves as a sugar producing area and growth point. With many shops and garden malls located in the town, tourists can be sure that their every need will be met. Simunye has many social, educational and training centres available.
The business community is thriving thanks to the town’s processed sugar being marketed worldwide. Simunye is located in the Eastern parts of the country and also near the Lubombo Mountains. The name of this town means “we are one”.
